Mystery Skulls’ only available EP (via Bandcamp) is a brief selection of throbbing, dancey tunes that mix Prince-like funk and 21st century electro grooves to make a solid, but brief debut effort.
Songs like the falsetto-fueled opener or the energized “Money” showcase a confident group with plenty of potential.
