Despite the long wait between albums, Aesop Rock’s Skelethon doesn’t seem to hit as hard as some previous releases.
While some sampling and collaborations make for really strong tracks, others like the goofy “Racing Stripes” or “Grace,” put Aes’ obvious talents to poor use. This one’s a letdown.
